Term 3 is really bad..
A busy busy sch term!!!
I had been staying back till 5pm almost everyday!
Had to burn midnight oil to meet assignment deadline!
Had to prepare for End Year Concert!
Had to complete the whole term lesson plans and worksheets by next week!
And the list just go on and on....
Haiz! Think most likely I am going to stay back after work again next week...
Hmm...
Did I mention that my principal received a compliment email from one of my boy's mummy?
Ha! I was quite shocked when my principal mentioned it to me..
She was impressed by my dedication towards my job and the kids etc..
Wow! Wow! I am glad that my hard work is being recognized.. ^^
I was on 2 days of mc last Wed & Thurs..
And was told by my Assistant that some of the kids cried..
I felt bad but had no choice..
Cos I was really sick and had to rush my assignment as well..
I really can't cope with it~
Anyway, it was really nice hearing some parents asking "How are u? Feeling better?" etc..
I have noticed that my kids' behavior are getting bad recently!
I had a hard time making them settle down for lesson..
Scolded all of them yesterday and things are slowly getting better but still I have to do small group activity in order not to strangle them.. Haa! Haa!
Yeah, i know its a waste of my time to do small group activity with them..
I have to teach the two groups separately, repeating the activity twice but this is the only way to meet their individual needs and reduce my BP as well.. lolx!
My German girl has been crying since the day I was on mc until now..
I really have no idea what went wrong..
She was fine for 2 weeks and recently started crying...
Her mummy stayed for almost half an hour in class everyday to accompany her..
And today, I had no choice but to tell her that I might need her to stay out wef next week..
Explained the situation and consequences to her..
She left after the talk..
Knowing that she was still kinda worried, I assured her that I will give her a call if anything goes wrong..
Guess what?!?
Her girl was perfectly alright after the assembly! She stopped crying and started mingle with her classmates..
Called her mummy and informed her that everything was fine etc..
I can hear that she was very happy and relieved..
Haa! Told me that she was very worried and glad that I have called to inform her! ^^
It brightened up my day when I heard that..
Other than planning of lesson plans and worksheets, I am falling in love with this job!
Its fun being around with the kids though they can be really naughty and playful at times..
I have a bunch of really nice and appreciative parents..
I love talking and gossiping with them! Haa!
Most importantly, am glad that I am able to play a part in their child's growth and life..
