Cereal Prawn

YES!! YES!!
Dear and I love to eat Cereal Prawn!!
I didn't know that it was sooooooo EASY to cook until mum taught me few yrs back..
And MY GOODNESS!!
I cant believe that such a simple dish is soooo expensive when we have it @ Restaurant or even @ those ' Zi Char '..
Yuppie!! Its freaking easy with the help of the Instant Cereal Prawn Mix!!
And within less than 10mins..
Your "Special Homemade Cereal Prawn" will be ready to serve!!

Hmm.....
I seldom cook this dish..
Alrite, shall put it this way..
Its my fav but I will ONLY cook it once a year..
Which is on Dear's bday!!
BUT!!!
Guess What??!!
I've cooked it thrice this year!!
On Dear's birthday, Family Gathering and TODAY!!

Let me present you the 主角。。。

Process of deveining and cleaning the prawn


Mum bought the normal type of prawn la!!
Should buy the bigger one..
Erm, wats the name?
Think its called 老虎虾 if i'm not wrong..
Will taste better with those prawn!!

AND now...
Here's the ingredients needed....

Planta Butter & Curry Leaves

Chilli Padi


AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST..
The Cereal from Hong Lai
Hmm..
I've tried other brand before but this is the BEST!!


You will be able to find the printed recipe at the back of the packaging..

Anyway, here's wat i normally do..

(1) As mentioned, devein and clean the prawn.

(2) Deep fry the prawn in the Deep Fryer till cooked.

(3) Set the wok over low heat. Add in the Planta butter and heat till melt (1 tablespoon for 400g of prawn & not more than 2 tbsp for 1kg of prawn)

(4) Add in the curry leaves and chilli padi, stir fry till fragrant. ( Till the curry leaves are crispy)

(5) Off the flame. Add in the fried prawn and cereal, stir-fry well.

(6) Now... Its ready to be served!!! =)

~ My Homemade Cereal Prawn ~

Alright, I know it DOESN'T LOOK NICE & YUMMY..
Cos Mummy bought only 1 packet of cereal la!!
AND WITH 1KG OF PRAWN, U NEED 2 PACKETS!!
tats why insufficient cereal..!!
AND I ADDED TOO MUCH BUTTER THIS TIME...
tats why the cereal was not crispy enough!!

So always remember......

** U'll need 2 packets of Instant Cereal Mix if u're cooking more than 750g of prawn!!!

** NEVER add too much butter!!!

Updates!!

Its M-O-N-D-A-Y again...
Just came back from work..
Reported @ 9am today..
No kids but there's lotsa work to be done..
Washing toys, clearing cupboards, setting up of classroom etc...
OMG!! Spent whole day doing the weather chart and i have yet to finish..

I enjoyed myself soooo much last week..
DPT Orientation, Excursion, Prawning etc...
Packed with activities that i dun even have time to blog... =)

Oh ya, saw a Picanto with Piglet design on my way to work last Tues!!
Gosh!! It looked sooooooo cute!!
I love it soooo much ^^
Immediately called Dear and told him about it..
Haa.. Opps!! In case u dunno..
I'm a PIGLET LOVER.. =)
Yeah, I love Piglet but dun think i would dare to drive a piglet car around..
Haa!!

Anyway, i'll be having my 1st DPT lesson this Sat..
Gosh!! From 10am till 5pm..
7 long long long hours by Dr. Christine Chen..
The thought of it makes me wanna sleep * yawn *
I wonder how am i gonna survive in class... -_-""""

I'll be using the CRY ROOM next year..
YES!! CRY ROOM FOR ME AGAIN...
Cos the new teacher will be too old to shift the things on every Monday & Friday..
I'll be handling a class on my own!!
Yuppie!! Gonna be class teacher next year!!

There were 2 choices for me..
(1) Brand new kids in Cry Room
(2) My PG-PM class (promoting to N1-AM) in a bigger room

I chose the 1st choice..
Cos my PG-PM kids are terrible!!
Those 7 of them are enough to kill me..
And plus 7 other new kids who will come crying..
I will die ah.. lolx!!

So gonna take N1 with 8 new kids and 1 from my PG-AM class..
Grace should be taking all our PG-AM kids..
BUT Natalie's mum requested to put her in my class..
Ya, special request..
Means I'm a great teacher??!!
Haa!! Opps!! I know i'm proud la~

Last Thursday was considered the last day of school for our kids..
Alrite, at least for those who were nt going for the excursion on Fri..
Took lotsa photo with them..
Cant believe i actually took about 200 pictures on Thurs & Fri..!!
Grace and I decided to develop the photo and mail it together with xmas card to their house!!
What a BIG SURPRISE rite??
Hee.. Wont u be surprise to receive xmas card & photo from your teachers??!!

Was trying to arrange gathering with the rest for either late movie or prawning..
But Jill got flight, Ying having MJ, Shan attending Tuck's Co's Event and Ting got something on..
So ended up prawning @ Farmart with Danny & Elin in the evening..
Gosh!! Each couple spent about $30 bucks for 3 hours..
But caught only 4 prawns!!!
Ya Ya.. one each.. lolx!!
Miserable la!! $60 bucks for 4 prawn!!
Go market buy also nt so expensive la!!

Slept @ 6am in the morning..
We were busy watching Ch 62..
Headed to Dear's house in the afternoon..
Ate the curry that his mummy cooked..
YUMMY!!
I LOVE THE CURRY HIS MUMMY COOKED!!

Headed off to his Grandma's house after that..
She cooked lunch and boiled herbal soup for us!!
ANOTHER YUMMY MEAL!!
